Has your child noticed a strange raised patch of scaly, dry skin? Chances are its nothing too serious, but it’d still be safe to check with a doctor. Most likely, this scaly patch of skin is the result of pityriasis rosea, especially if it is soon accompanied by smaller oval-shaped spots.
