Mononucleosis

Mono, also known as “the kissing disease”, is fairly common in children and teens. Now, just because it earned the nickname “the kissing disease” doesn’t mean that your son or daughter has been kissing someone.  Mononucleosis can be spread through any contact with the saliva of
someone who has been infected with the virus, so the cause could just be the sharing of food or drinks. Here is some information to help you recognize the symptoms and learn more about this illness.
