You thought the price of that sushi yesterday was such a bargain, but now you’re paying the price for a good deal gone bad. Food poisoning is another name for what follows eating food that has begun to grow bacteria.  After eating germ-infected food, a person might develop sudden and severe vomiting and diarrhea hours after eating the food or lesser symptoms a day later. The misery usually goes away in a few days with clear liquid and a bland diet, however, there are more severe cases that must go to the doctor to see if any treatment is necessary.  Learn more about when to worry in this teaching sheet.
