Who knew yeast could be found in more places than a rising loaf of bread?  The mouth of your infant might not be one of the places you’d considered before now.  New babies often struggle with yeast in the mouth and when that happens, we call the condition oral thrush.  If you’ve been told your little one has the condition, don’t worry.  There are lots of ways to cure oral thrush and make it difficult for the germ to grow.  That said, there is a great deal to learn about what makes some babies particularly susceptible to yeast, and this teaching sheet is a great place to start.
